The Wild West Lodge is the ultimate entertainment lodge within the Rocky Mountains. The masterplan starts with two ponds that lead into a natural Swan Pond; which is beside the Green River. Another small reflecting pond is aligned with the main entrance into the two story planted Solarium Room. The indoor / outdoor fish pond within the Solarium has a private sitting area as you listen to the waterfall over the natural boulders from Wyoming.
The main entry hall unfolds to the left with two formal spaces, the Great Room & the Wine Room. The Great Room has a terraced exterior balcony to view the sunsets to the West. The Wine Room is designed with a sixteen person tasting table centered, looking into the circular glass wine vault.
As you exit the formal living space you pass the grand center staircase. The floor plan opens into a Recreation Room featuring a home theatre, billiards table, shuffle board, mechanical riding bull, card table and saloon; all centered around the full 6’-0 x 8’ x 0’ open stone fireplace. Opposite to the Mechanical Bull Bar area is full Arcade Room with a full size two lane bowling alley.
The northern side of the lodge has three main structures: the Boat House, the Pool Pavilion and the Spa Building. All three structures are orientated from East to West to maximize the panoramic views of the Gannett Peak Mountain Range. The three story Boat House is built in the middle of the first lake, with the Dining Room located at the second floor and a telescopic Observation Room located on the third floor. The Pool Pavilion features an enclosed indoor 20x50 pool with a hydro floor system. The hydro floor system raises the pool, allowing for the space to be converted into a Ball Room. The Pool Pavilion Room has a full sauna, hot tub and cold plunge pool aligned with the westerly views of the mountains. There is a separate east entry and pool entry into the Spa Pavilion. The spa area has Salon Room plus four steam showers with two massage rooms that open into a Vichy Private Shower oasis.
The final grand area is the second floor private Sleeping Quarters. This area is over 4,500 square feet of living space including a Kitchen, Office, Living Room and Spa Plunge Room. It has two terraced exterior balconies and three interior open to below balconies for viewing activities from the Recreation Room. The Wild West Lodge puts a rustic quintessential twist on the western dude ranch.
